Le mur drôle et coloré
children's Council of the Municipality of Lausanne

Among the projects that are especially close to my heart is a collaboration I carried out with the Youth Office of Lausanne. As part of the Désert Project, I had the opportunity to guide a group of children through a unique artistic adventure.
It all began with their drawings, made on paper. My role was to help them transform these creations into a collective mural. Through a detailed process of composition and graphic design—which I handled entirely—I prepared the visuals for large-scale reproduction. The drawings were then projected onto the wall, and the children themselves took part in painting them, retracing their own lines under my supervision.
This project left a deep impression on me. Not only did it allow the children to see their ideas come to life on a city wall, but it also created a meaningful moment of sharing and recognition, where each child could leave a tangible mark in the public space.
For me, this kind of initiative perfectly embodies the power of art to bring people together, to inspire, and to pass something on.

Organization: Mansourcing/Editor: Demetrio Di Grado/Place: Caltagirone
This project was born from the collaboration between the artist Poliops and a group of young people from various African countries, hosted in a reception center. The initiative, curated by Demetrio Di Grado and organized by the association Mansourcing, aimed to transform a shared space into a place of beauty, belonging, and dialogue through the language of art.
Together, we repainted and revitalized the inner courtyard of the center, creating murals that express themes of identity, hope, and renewal. The visual concept and mural compositions were designed by me (Poliops), while the participants actively took part in the creative process, contributing their own ideas and personal stories.
The act of painting became a tool for connection — between people, cultures, and the environment around them. Through color and form, the residents were able to reclaim their space, turning it into a symbol of community and rebirth.
This experience strengthened my belief in the power of art as a vehicle for inclusion and transformation — a bridge capable of uniting people beyond differences and borders.
